Email hello@easyextract.online for bug reports, tool suggestions, security disclosures, or any other enquiry. The inbox is monitored and you can expect a reply within two business days. All messages are read — even if a reply is not always possible.

Reporting a bug

Bug reports are the most valuable messages we receive. If a tool produced wrong output, failed silently, or crashed your browser tab, please include:

• Tool name and URL — e.g. "PDF Table Extractor at /pdf-table-extractor/"
• File type and approximate file size — e.g. "a 4 MB scanned PDF" or "a password-protected XLSX"
• Browser and version — e.g. Chrome 126, Firefox 128, Safari 17
• Operating system — e.g. Windows 11, macOS 14, Android 14
• What happened — exact error message or description of wrong output
• What you expected — what the tool should have produced

You do not need to attach the file itself. A description of the format and any unusual properties (encrypted, multi-sheet, embedded objects, non-Latin characters) is enough. Never send files containing personal or sensitive data.

Reporting a privacy or security concern

If you believe you have found a privacy issue or security vulnerability — for example, a tool that appears to send data to a server when it should not, or a client-side parsing flaw that could be exploited — please email hello@easyextract.online with the subject line Security disclosure.

Include:

• A description of the issue and the affected tool or page
• Steps to reproduce, if applicable
• The potential impact as you understand it

We treat security disclosures as the highest priority. We will acknowledge receipt within one business day and aim to resolve confirmed issues within 14 days. We do not currently operate a paid bug bounty programme, but we will credit researchers by name in any public disclosure if they wish.

Suggesting a new tool or file format

EasyExtract publishes tools that do one extraction task well and run entirely in the browser — no upload required. If you need to extract specific data from a file format and there is no tool for it yet, email us with:

• The file format and the data you want to extract from it
• A rough sense of how often you encounter this need

We prioritise formats that are widely used and where browser-based extraction is genuinely feasible. Browse the full tool directory to see what already exists before writing.
